Bill Quay Community Farm

Bill Quay Farm has been providing education and entertainment for the local community and beyond for about eighteen years.

It was set up to introduce inner city people to aspects of rural life and has developed into an aclaimed rare breeds centre and well used leisure facility.

This project is a partnership between Gateshead Council and Bill Quay Community Farm Association, a voluntary group with charitable status (charity no. 517779).

Visitors can merely enjoy a day out in the fresh air, or those who want to take more interest can volunteer their services and help with jobs ranging from simple mucking out to showing of pedigree stock.

Admissions free, donations always welcome.
