Watched by many of the local birders. This bird roosted on the chimney of the adjacent Ravensworth Arms public house and was gone the next day.

The photographs below are of the same bird which was present in the morning of the 4th April 2004 before flying off to the south. This bird was the same as seen at East Boldon in March and is the regular wandering individual which was at Lamesley previously in May 2002. One of the locals reports it being present since 19:00hrs on 3rd.
