Grey Heron - Up to 9 Shibdon during the month

Canada Goose - 15 at Shibdon during the month

Shelduck - 1 on 1st at Shibdon and 2 from 13th – 14th

Teal - Maximum counts at Shibdon were 250 on 1st, 140 on 6th and 210 on 13th

Golden Plover - 1000 at Timber beach on 14th

Dunlin - 50 at Timber beach on 14th

Redshank - 29 Shibdon on 13th

Common Snipe - Maximum counts at Shibdon were 27 on 6th, 23 on 13th and 15 on 14th

Jack Snipe - 1 at Burdon Moor on 10th

Black-headed Gull – 362 Shibdon on 14th

Waxwing - 81 at Blaydon Shopping centre on 3rd, rising to 142 on 6th and still 104+ on 7th. 50 in early morning only on 11th, 100 on 12th and 170 on 13th (See photos last month).
